The "Federal Hunting Guards" has been established at the end of 1990 and has to show a recognized work till now. Its implementation and success has been based upon the acceptance and the support of all hunters, without the contribution of which, such a great achievement could not have been materialized.

The country's hunting federations employ presently 219 permanent hunting guards and 120 seasonal. These hunting guards have been placed all over the territory in way, which leads to the more effective guarding of the most inaccessible and inconvenient areas.

Being equipped with 150 new special vehicles, modern telecommunication equipment, night vision binoculars, bulletproof vests, work uniforms and any other necessary equipment, the Federal Hunting Guards is able to work collectively and more outside the narrow limits of Prefecture and control, preventively and repressive, night and day, difficult and particulars areas, discouraging even the most dangerous and audacious poachers.

The Federal Hunting Guards, are assimilated, in accordance with the legislation in force, with regards their duties and authorizations, with the Public Hunting Guards, taken their oaths before the competent services of the Forestall directorate of he districts within which they exercise their duties with diligence. Their authorities are recognized with decisions issued by all country's districts.

With the establishment of the Federal Hunting Guards, the hunters have taken in their own responsibility the most effective safeguarding of chases and furthermore, the wild life.
